After Honing the line ran west then north-west, crossing the main A149 road on a bridge at Bengate before running parallel with the GER line from Norwich for about a mile until North Walsham Town Station was reached. The M&GN station was about 100 yards from the GER station with which there was much rivalry leading to the initial temporary link being soon lifted. From North Walsham Town branches went north-east to Mundesley and Cromer and west towards Melton Constable and South Lynn. |
